Chris Silva is the founder of Sour Fever. He wanted to give back to BMX and to give others a chance to grow within the sport. Sour Fever is Chris's in-house clothing line. It's coming out party was on Friday, February 26, 2010. The party was a good time with lots of laughs and love for BMX. If you don't believe me, look at the photos!

ICC/Animal Jam '09

Hello,
The Street Jam in Toronto hosted by ICC and Animal was amazing!!! There was a huge crowd that came out and a lot of people all over the East side of North America. I was only able to get a bunch of photos from the first few spots. I think it's clear that by the amount of people, bmx-er's took over the streets of Toronto starting at noon till whenever they got tired. It was a fun and wild day. Hope to see some of you (who were there) again soon and others who will hopefully be there next time.

When it rains...

The first image is when it hailed a few weeks ago; it was crazy! I quickly went out to take the photo before it started to pour rain after. The others after just happened today (Wednesday, May 27), I was walking home and noticed that everything was beautiful with bold bright colours and found an interesting subject of the way.

Shine A Light On Darfur '09

Who: Toronto Citizens: two school students organized the event! Crazy!!!
What: Shine a Light on Darfur
When: Sunday, April 12th, 2009
Where: Queens Park, Toronto
Why: To help stop genocide in Darfur

It was an incredible night involving the young and old of Toronto to come together and have the same ideas. There were speakers, musicians, and many volunteers who helped create the scene reach the news networks. It was a successful night of reaching out and spreading the word.

Aruba '08 Pt1

I have finally had some free time to go over these photos during a class and on the tube (subway). So here it is:

During the Winter break I was in Aruba having an amazing time under the sun and walking on the beach and going into down- there was a lot more time spent on the beach and watching people do the most interesting things. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.

The Eating Disorders of York Region put on a great and successful charity benefit show/fundraiser at the Markham Theatre! On November 2nd the Sensational Sixties was back for an amazing night of fun, laughter, dancing, and singing. Enjoy the photos!

Beautiful Whistler, BC

When I went to Whistler I had no idea what to expect but nature. I was so impressed and astonished of what I saw and slowly fell in love with Whistler. When I went on a small hike with a dear friend of mine we saw a poor bird stuck in burr so you may see some images with a knife "to kill" the bird but let me assure you the knife was to cut the branch off and help the bird. I am planning on going back so these photos of Whistler are not the last!

Fun Vancouver, BC

I went to Vancouver right after San Francisco and had an awesome time with an old friend. We went to the International Fireworks 'Competition', downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, UBC, and I went on a tour bus ride. It was a lot of fun seeing all of Vancouver and experienced its history as well. I love all of these photos and I would most certainly visit again.

San Fran and downtown Pt I: SF, CA

I went to San Francisco at the beginning of the summer in July. I had a wonderful experience and fun with my family. San Francisco is a great place to visit and live! My first day, I was taken to the Mission, and to the de Young Fine Arts Museum. Later on during the week we went to Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park, and went to Chinatown for a bit. Through and through, it was an amazing time! Please keep in mind that this is part one (Pt 1) of this specific portion of my trip.
There is also San Fran and downtown Pt 2, Oakland/Jack London Square with the USS Potomac, Napa, Berkley, and Walnut Creek. Enjoy!

Oakland/Jack London Square on the USS Potomac: SF, CA

I went with my great uncle and friend to the JL Square for a fun ride on President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's beloved "Floating White House," the USS Potomac. I met a lot of interesting people and the red hated ladies. They were very nice and wonderful people.

I went to Berkley for a day and met a lot of really awesome people. I went by the university where a few films were recorded, records stores, the 510 Skateboarding store and more of the local shops. Walnut Creek as a great place and I went with my great Uncle and friend to the Farmers Market where the block is closed and the streets are filled with people shopping for fruits, vegetables, and other cooking varieties. There's lots of colour and interesting people in this neighbourhood and the food is delicious!

The North By Northeast Film and Music Festival was a success at the El Mocambo. Songs from a room, Casey Baker and the Buffalo Sinners, .moneen., Black Lungs, and Bedouin Soundclash all played well and got the audience going wild; screaming for more and crowd surfing. Rain was leaking from the ceiling onto the stage, obviously the rain didn’t stop the music and the love being shared! With a crowded room where one was shoulder to shoulder it was an amazing night with lots of fun.
There are two parts of the images because there were at least more than 500 pictures taken to narrow down. J-CO Photography gives apologies to anyone and everyone who waited for these images. Thanks for your patience.

Your Favorite Enemies (YFE) Live

This night was fun and exciting; I got to meet people that I knew for a long time but never got a chance to meet up. Finally at the YFE show I was able to meet a whole bunch of really awesome people from Montreal including the band. The photos are fantastic! Considering I have not taken photos at a show for a while, these photos beat 'em all! I arrived early and took photos of the band having a sound check and a small practice because 6-9 hours on the road can get one to forget how to play! That's how I see it. Anyways, enjoy the photos.

Yea We Bike On Friday!

I was at Wallace Emerson Park today around lunch time (1-2 pm) and I noticed that there were a lot of people there considering school was not finished. So, I decided to take some awesome photos of people who were hard at work and worked hard having fun. There were a few moments that broke the joy from the day but in the end, all is well. Talent: Stone Balance

Toronto Freedom Festival: Marijuana March

The day was full of fun and laughter! Despite the rain people found a way around it, pitching tents and tarps. The festival ended early because of the hysterical weather. Entertainment and shops were scattered throughout the park. As far as I know, everyone left with a smile.
There are two parts: one is of the outside tents and entertainment and the second part is of the 'in tent' experience. Enjoy.

Metro Jam Day 3 Pt2

This is the last of the Metro Jam photos. In total, the jam was a blast and as far as I know... everyone had a good time. The park was pretty wild and there were a lot of people going all out. The artists of the ramps came for a visit, which was nice. They did a great job: 5 to 7 months of work. See for yourself how amazing their work is. Also, thank you to Mike for putting together the whole jam. It was a wonderful weekend.
